Eric is the scheming, complaining, ill-fated, joke-playing main character of the strip, "Eric & Company." He's a sophomore in highschool, and the school rules him more than he rules it. Fate and bad luck keep him from his friends, and his attempts to have a vacation are always thwarted. He occasionally takes advantage of his not-so bright companion, Gabe. |

| Eric's parents are there...barely. Issues Eric is bothered by and struggles with are of no concern to them. Eric resorts to other people to complain to instead. |

Chris is Eric's main man. They're best friends forever. They laugh together, they hang together, they're partners in crime together. But they have no classes or even lunch together because of the school's scheduling system, causing Eric to have to spend his time with other people, like Gabe and Tim. |

| Gabe is a hippie with very little brain power. If he could even remember Eric's name, he'd spell it "Arichk." Because of his stupidity, Eric often dupes him and takes advantage of his stupidity. |

Tim is another person Eric often ends up spending time with. He is highly religious, and often uses religion as a topic, although Eric usually takes it as a joke and responds sarcastically. |

| Monty is always there to bail Eric out of trouble. He roams doing odd jobs, and always seems to be there when Eric needs a hand. Whether working as a janitor, or as a security guard in a Canadian jail, Monty is always ready to lend a helping hand. |

The psychopath always shows up when Eric goes on vacation and thwarts his plans to have a good time for once in his life. Whether holding everyone hostage or trying to escape from the mental institute, the psychopath always butts into Eric's life causes him much trauma. He always is there when Eric wants to get away from it all. |
